I would like to give you all the wonderful news that I am fully funded. Thanks to all of you who supported me financially and in prayer. I know the Lord is planning on doing great things over the next four months and you and I will be a part of those because you helped support me. Right now I am in Thailand working with an organization that helps women in prostitution, and it is a really exciting ministry. Next month we will be in Cambodia, then Vietnam, and then Malaysia. I know the Lord is going to work in amazing ways both in me and through me in these months. Without your help I would not be able to be here so again, thank you so much and I want to let you all know how much I appreciate your support. However, as I am free from the burden of raising support two of my squad mates, Spencer and Angela, still need support to come in. Spencer needs about $2,000 and Angela needs $3,700. I know you have done a lot for me over the past 8 months, but if the Lord puts it on your heart and you have a desire to help the Lord work through a few other people as well, they would really appreciate any support you could give. If you feel led to give you can go to their blogs, spenceradams.theworldrace.org and angelaharvey.theworldrace.org, and click on the “support me” link under their photos. Thanks again for all of you support.

Rwanda has been amazing. The Lord has taught me so much here and used me in lots of ways. The other day I had the opportunity to lead three people to the Lord, which was amazing. He really has been teaching me how to step into speaking both in evangelism and in churches.
I have really loved Rwanda and I have had a great time. On Wednesday we leave for Uganda. I am super excited for our ministry there and I am really looking forward to it. However, I still need $2000 in my support account by March 1. If this money does not come in I will not be able to continue on the trip.
The Lord has been teaching me so much and I am looking forward to what He is going to teach me and how He is going to use me in the next five months. Many of you have already supported me and I would like to thank you so much for that. If only 20 people donated $100 I would be fully funded. I am confident the Lord is going to provide my finances for this trip and He may want to use you to do it. If you believe the Lord is leading you to donate to me so that I can continue sharing His Word throughout the world you can send donations to the following address:
Adventures in Missions
PO Box 534470
Atlanta GA 30353-4470
or you can donate online by clicking the "support me" link underneath my picture. If you send in a check to Adventures in Missions please put my name in the memo line or send a note saying that is for me. That would be appreciated. You can donate one time or you can donate monthly. If you want to donate monthly you can include that in the note. Also, if you could email me at eharr@tfc.edu and let me know how much you are sending that would be best. It can take AIM awhile to update the support so it is best if I can let them know how much is expected. Thank you again so much for your support.

The Lord has been showing me a lot lately through taking me out of my comfort zone in the ministry we have been involved with recently. We have been doing door to door evangelism here in Rwanda and we have also been leading Bible studies in the mornings and sharing at church in the evenings. I am going to begin with the evangelism.
As I said in my previous blog I have not done very much in evangelism ministries. So doing door to door evangelism has defiantly taken me out of my comfort zone, but the Lord has showed me so much through the experiences I have had. It has been really cool to see how the Lord has been using me even though I am so much of the time out of my comfort zone. One of the major things the Lord has been reminding me of is that evangelism is the primary reason God has called me into mission work. Sometimes I find that I can get so caught in a desire to meet people's physical needs that I overlook the primary goal of sharing the Gospel and bringing them to the Lord. In Tanzania I had the opportunity to lead a lady and her daughter to the Lord and it was an amazing experience. Although I have shared my faith with others I had never lead anyone to the Lord. Even though it was out of my comfort zone and I had not done it much before the Lord used me in that and it was amazing to see.
I have also had the opportunity to speak in church on Sunday evening and share during the Bible study this morning. I have never been very fond of public speaking and I get really nervous when I get up in front of people to speak, especially if I have to speak for an extend period of time. Even with how uncomfortable I am getting up in front of people and speaking He has used what I have had to say. I saw that happen especially today when I talked about fear. After I was done speaking the pastor asked if anyone had testimonies and one woman in particular shared how what I had to say impacted her. It was a great affirmation for me to her what she had to say and to see how God used me in that way. I tend to not have a lot of confidence in what I have to say and trusting that the Lord is going to use my words but He has been constantly affirming me in that and it has been awesome.

So I know it has been a while since I have posted anything so I wanted to give you all an update on the past few months, beginning with Nepal.
Nepal was an amazing month. My team and I did a lot of evanglism in Nepal and we would travel around to different villages and share testimonies from our lives and tell people what the Lord had been teaching us lately. I grew a lot in my confidence with sharing about what the Lord had been teaching me and seeking Him in what I should talk about. We often did not know if we were going to be talking or who was going to be talking but the Lord was always faithful to provide a message for us to share to people. At the end of Nepal we had team changes. I was very nervous about being put on a new team, but the Lord knew what He was doing when He put my team together and He showed me once again that I can trust Him and that He knows what is best.
With my new team, traveled to India. India we had the opportunity to work with Jirah Children's Home. This is a home for either orphaned children or children from single parent households. There are 11 children at the home and we taught them English, Bible, and Music. The home is run by a married couple with two children of their own and one on the way. It was an incredible month. I love working with children and it was the first month that our ministry actually involved children and it was great. We also spent Christmas there and had an amazing time. I can't imagine a better place to be for Christmas if I could not be with my family. It was hard being away from home for Christmas but the Lord really gifted us with a ministry that was great and a family that welcomed us in as their own for the holidays.
Next we traveled to Tanzania. Tanzania was also a good month but not quite as exciting as Nepal and India. We did a lot of door to door evanglims during Tanzania which was great. I had not had much experience in door to door evanglism and so I was very nervous about it. The Lord was always faithful to use us to minister to people and that was great to see. I got to lead a couple people to the Lord in Tanzania as did others on my team as well. It was a wonderful reminder of how the Lord uses me even when I have no idea what to do or what to say. Tanzania I also got to spend a lot of time with children and being able to show the Lord's love to them which was also wonderful. On a fun note we also went on safari through the Serengeti which was awesome. We saw a lot of animals and I was really reminded of God's creativity and imgaination while we drove through.
Those have been the past 3 months for me now I am in Rwanda and here we are doing door to door evanglism and a lot of speaking. I will tell you more about that in my next blog which will be coming soon.

What would you do?
We lived in a very remote area and our contact did not have a car so on Sundays we would get up around 5:30 AM and leave around 6:15 AM for a two mile hike to the bus which arrived at 7:00 AM. Now keep in mind that it is quite chilly here this time of year and the sun has not come up yet. Once we arrive at the bus stop there may be a wee little bit of space on the bus for six girls to squeeze on or it may be so packed we have to wait an extra 40 min. for it to drop off the current passengers and then come back for us. In any case, once we have finally boarded the bus and spent about 30 min. riding into town where the church is we have about another ½ to 1 mile to walk before we actually arrive at church, somewhere between 7:30 or 8:30 and church does not begin until 10. Now the first Sunday we did this we arrived around 7:30 or 7:40 and waited in the church for 2 ½ hrs before the service started. The church has no heat and I honestly like I was going to freeze. The rest of the Sundays we hung out at the houses where the teams who lived in that town stayed. I found this to be quite an exciting experience and doing it for 3 Sundays really was not that bad. However, during these walks to and from church the thought always came to mind, “would I really be that dedicated to attending church if I had to do this every Sunday.” Although I would like to say, “Yes, of course I would still go to church” I honestly do not think I would. I mean honestly, there have been times at home where I am tired and only have to jump in the car for a 15 min. drive and I decide I don’t feel like getting up and going to church. If I had to wake up at 5:30 AM every morning and walk for 6 miles every Sunday to get to church I doubt I would go that often. Through this though the Lord has really showed me one small aspect of what it looks like to be dedicated to Him. Although at this point I cannot say that I would be that diligent in attending church, I would really like to be and I am trusting that the Lord will continue to guide me and lead me to a point where I can say, “I know I hate getting up so early in the morning and the prospect of a two mile hike to church does not seem very appealing, because the Lord desires us to be in community and fellowship with one another I will go.” Philippians 1:6 says, “For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus” and I am confident that the Lord will continue to work in my heart and help me grow in Him.

I wanted to let everyone know that we made it safely to Moldova. Thank you so much for all of your prayers for our trip. We are in the capital of Moldova right now but we will be dispersing today to different locations throughout the country. My team will have a train ride and then a bus ride before we get to our new location so continued prayer for safety in travel would be great. We will be staying in a village so I do not know what internet access will be like there so if you do not hear from me for a while that is why. The Lord has really been providing for us through out are trip here to Moldova and though there were a couple complications in transit He provided translators for us and helped everything get worked out well. So again it may be a while before I can post again but thank you for all of your prayers and I will appreciate continued prayers as well.

I want to thank everyone for their prayers for me over the past couple of weeks. Many people were praying for my foot which was bothering me some and it is better now so thank you for praying for that. Romania has been pretty great. We have visited some gypsy villages and done a lot of work around the compound we are staying at. We also got to visit a home for mentally challanged women and an orphange. We also helped organize for a flee market that Becky hosted over the past weekend, which went very well.

When we have some time off we have done some fun things as well. Becky took us to a ballet at an opera house and we got to visit the largest mall in Eastern Europe which is located in Bucarest. The most exciting fun thing for me that we have done so far though is visiting Castle Bran, which is often considered Dracula's Castle. It is in the mountains of Transylvania so the drive up was amazing because I have never seen mountains that big before. They were beautiful.

Then along the way we saw a woman pulling a wagan loaded with wood along the road but it was stuck so we stopped to help. We ended up helping this lady pull the wagon for about 1 to 1 1/2 miles to her home. It was wonderful being able to help her and after we got the cart back to her house she told us that she had prayed that God would send her someone to help her. It was so amazing that the Lord used us to be an answer to her prayer and then we were able to meet her family and pray for them as well. It always amazes me how God uses us in the simplest ways when we are least expecting it.

Wow. So much has happened over the past week and it has been so amazing. We finally made it to Romania after a two day trip with about 20hrs worth of layovers. It was great being able to visit Warsaw during our layover in Poland though. However, the most meaningful event that happened during our travels to Romania actually occurred in a women's restroom in Atlanta, GA. Myself and another one of my team members had an opportunity to pray for a lady in the restroom of a mall in Atlanta. She was having a hard day and was very burdened for a friend of hers and had been having a lot of trouble with her allergies. So there in a restroom in Atlanta my friend and I were able to pray for and make an impact in the life of a total stranger. She is a believer and even though we had never meet each other the fact that we all believe and have accepted Christ as our Savior brings a unity that is so amazing. Every time I have an experience like this I am always amazed at how amazing the Lord is and how He has blessed us so dearly with this unity. I would like this to be an encouragement to all of you as well that no matter where you are the Lord provides people who can encourage you and pray for you and the opposite as well. He will bring people into your lives that you will be able to pray for and encourage even though you don't know them because you have the same Father and have been unified through Him. I know sometimes it may be uncomfortable but I want to encourage you to step out in these situations and let the Lord use you to bring comfort and support to people who need it.

Today has began my journey around the world. My parents and I left this morining to drive down to Georgia where I will be leaving from. Trying to get everything together has seemed very overwhelming and the prospect of leaving everything I know for almost a year is becoming increasingly intimidating. So this evening as I have been trying to regain focus and relax I was listening to a song, Freedom of the Sea, which I have heard many times before, but meant so much more to me this evening than it has before. As I listened the one line that continually popped out to me was "doubt is saying got to stay, faith is saying sail away." However, while for me stepping out in faith and sailing away is actually taking me away, the Lord calls all of us to step out in faith and sail away whether that be leaving home or staying where we are. Our doubt is constantly trying to hold us back, but I am so ecnouraged be Hebrews 12:2 which tells us that Jesus is the "founder and perfecter of our faith." The Lord has provided the faith we need to step out the only question is will we be obedient or will we let our doubts hold us back. I want to encourage you set sail in faith as well wherever the Lord has called you to be right now whether if that is at college, at home, or somewhere else. What will your choice be, held back by doubt or setting sail in faith?

Training camp has been awesome so far. The Lord has been working in amazing ways this week. We have had many sessions, but the ones at the beginning of the week have been most powerful. The Lord has really been revealing to me this week ways that He wants me to grow and things that He wants me to let go of and move past. One of the biggest lessons God has been teaching me which I sometimes feel like He is always trying to teach me is to trust Him and believe in the promises He has made to us. It is easy to say that well of course God loves me or of course God has forgiven me I know that, the Bible says that. However, truly trusting God and believing Him when He tells me those things is another story. This week I have really been growing in my trust in God that He does mean what He says and there is nothing that can change that. He has been working marvelously in me and in others this week and I am excited to see how He will continue working. We split up into teams today, which will be the people we will spend the majority of our time with on the trip. I am with 5 other very amazing women and I know the Lord is going to work in us and through us in amazing ways and I am very excited to see how He does this.
